Annette Richards, a leading authority of the extensive collection of music held in the library of Prussian Princess Anna Amalia, from where the music on this disc is drawn, is heard here in a first recording of the new organ at Cornell University created by organ-builder Munetaka Yokota at the Gothenburg Organ Art institute and modeled after the 1706 Schnitger organ of Charlottenburg Castle (Berlin). Ms. Richards, Professor of Music and University Organist at Cornell University and C.P.E. Bach scholar, gives concerts frequently in North America.
